The Music of Alberta is varied, but country and folk are especially strong. Alberta artist Ian Tyson, for example, is noted for writing Four Strong Winds which was voted the greatest Canadian song of all time by CBC listeners. The biggest selling Alberta act, however, is undoubtly rock group Nickleback.
