Music Today is a online magazine which was first launched in 1999 and had very minor success and the company behind the magazine decided to pull the magazine. Little has been heard from the magazine since their last issue (December 1999) but the magazine is still going strong with appearances in 2005 when they coverved the Brits '05 for the BBC show Top of the Pops. According to some sources Sharpe Media Group (SMG) has decided to bring back the magazine with a total new look. A following statement was issued
To whom it may concern. Music Today is Back!!! after 3 years out of the media the time has come to bring back a Relaunched Edition of MT (the new name for Music Today) We are currently working on the first ever issue since 2005, we made a series of brief returns when significant events in music occurred ie Spice Girls Announced Reunion. But watch out because this time it's gonna be different. Last time around we only distributed locally, but now we're going global. In the next coming months we will be totally relaunching with a new look and launching our very first website!!! and exclusively getting the backstage goss from the MusicBiz Our team has changed slightly since our last issue. We remember Christopher Bott 2000-2006 who left the team to concentrate on solo projects. We at MT wish him all the best!! Regards, MT (formally known as Music Today)
N.B this company has nothing to do with the record label.
