Mushroom Green
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mushroom Green is an area in the Quarry Bank/Dudley Wood area of Birmingham, UK. It is famous for its traditional chain making shop and stunning houses. It is believed in old Folklore that the area has been haunted for more than 600 years by an outcast of the natural world of elements. In the heart of the area there is a long, ongoing stream of sparkling water which makes it beautifully inspirational for environmentalist's and photographers.
In recent years it has been said by at least 4 people that they have seen random branches on trees and patches of grass on fire and extremely cold spots when they walk away from the mysterious fire patches, however, this has not yet been proven. What has been proven though is that parts of the ground on the area often rumbles very quietly and not very noticeable but on one occasion the same area of ground once rumbled so viciously that it made 6 cracks in the ground and also caused a tree to fall down and merged into the stream. This created a dam in which the water seeped its way around the tree but was later removed by the local council.also equally as strange, sharon bailey (then named sharon attwood ,and whos parents still live there) was twice run over by first a car, then a motorbike resulting in minor injurys.
