Museum of Liverpool Life

The Museum of Liverpool Life in Liverpool, England, celebrated the contribution of the people of Liverpool to national life. It closed on Sunday, 4 June 2006, to make way for the new Museum of Liverpool that is due to open in 2010.
The Museum of Liverpool Life's three newest galleries were, City Lives exploring the richness of Liverpool's cultural diversity, The River Room featuring life around the River Mersey, and City Soldiers about the King's Regiment. Older galleries included Mersey Culture, from Brookside to the Grand National, Making a Living, and Demanding a Voice. Items from the Museum of Liverpool Life collection and an archive of exhibitions can be found on the National Museums Liverpool website.
The Museum was part of National Museums Liverpool.
