Museum Brandhorst

The Brandhorst-Museum will be opened in Munich in 2008. It will display the collection of modern art of the heir of the Henkel trust Udo Brandhorst.
The building has been created by the architects of Sauerbruch Hutton next to the Pinakothek der Moderne in the Kunstareal. The museum will display a collection of the illustrated books of Pablo Picasso and works of modern artists like Andy Warhol, Cy Twombly, Sigmar Polke and Damien Hirst.
