Muse (Hong Kong Magazine)

Muse Magazine (瞄) is a monthly publication on Hong Kong's art and cultural scene. [1]
As of March 2008, the magazine has 1,000 paid subscriptions and several hundred copies sold on newsstands.[2]

Launched in February 2007, Muse models itself after The New Yorker. [3] Although Muse is primarily an English magazine, Chinese elements are also included. [4]
In the March 2008 issue, the magazine has exclusively published Eileen Chang's English short story, The Spyring, which her Chinese story Lust, Caution, and subsequently the movie were based on. [5]

The content of each issue typically includes feature stories, profile, fiction, Muse tour and reviews on concerts, cinema, books, theater etc.

Muse has been running articles and columns of writers like Lung Ying-tai (龍應台), Xu Xi, Lam Joi-Shan(林在山) and Leo Lee Ou-fan.

Muse has sponsored different arts and cultural events in Hong Kong. For example, the Hong Kong Arts Festival[6] and Hong Kong International Film Festival. [7]
