MuscleTech
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
MuscleTech is a brand of sports nutrition supplements marketed by Iovate Health Sciences Inc.
Some products bearing the MuscleTech brand name include Hydroxycut Hardcore, Anabolic Halo, LEUKIC Hardcore, and supplements containing creatine (such as Cell-Tech Hardcore) and protein supplements (such as Nitro-Tech Hardcore). The brand also encompasses a number of other categories, such as nitric oxide supplements, meal replacements and various pre-workout supplements.
The MuscleTech brand is endorsed by bodybuilders such as two time Mr. Olympia champion Jay Cutler, Gustavo Badell, Dexter Jackson, Darrem Charles, David Henry, and Branch Warren.
MuscleTech products can be found at GNC, Walgreens, and other stores.
MuscleTech Research and Development Inc., a holding company for the brand, filed for bankruptcy in January 2006 in response to over one hundred personal injury lawsuits relating to ephedra in Hydroxycut and their supplements containing androstendione and similar pro-hormones.[1]
