Description

The "Mussel Slough Five", convicted in the wake of the Mussel Slough Tragedy, which occurred in 1880 just outside Hanford, California. L-to-R: John D. Pursell, John J. Doyle, James N. Patterson, Wayman L. Pryor, and William Braden.
