[edit] WikiProject Films coordinator elections
The WikiProject Films coordinator selection process is starting. We are aiming to elect five coordinators to serve for the next six months; if you are interested in running, please sign up here by March 28! Girolamo Savonarola (talk) 10:32, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Skagit River native history section
Actually it's just the History section, but the first paragraph is maybe problematic or needs expansion/correction anyway; see Talk:Skagit River.Skookum1 (talk) 15:47, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Commons trouble
Yo, I wonder if I could ask a favour. I uploaded Image:Katie Sierra in the Land of the Free.gif to Commons but screwed up the copyright tags and for some inexplicable reason I am unable to edit Commons image pages. Could you possibly copy-paste the copyright info on Image:GlobalIntifada.gif and paste it to the Sierra image? I don't want the copyright mafia to get all trigger happy and delete anything unnecessarily...скоморохъ 23:22, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
- Perfect, muchas gracias. скоморохъ 07:27, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
- It's bizarre - when I click "edit this page" over there, the browser won't open the ".php" file and tries to open it with some word processor instead. So I can upload by clicking radio buttons, and strangely enough, comment on talk pages, but I can't edit images. There's probably some blindly obvious technical reason for it, but I am a neophyte at this programming business. скоморохъ 07:32, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Henry Ford the anarchist
Well, sure. The whole point of that section is that it recognizes some of the more controversial individuals referred to as anarchist. Some of them will be more controversial than others. Add him. He denies it anyway.--Cast (talk) 03:17, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Re: St. James' Parish, Lothian, MD
I answered your question at St. James' Parish, Lothian, MD at my talk page. (I should probably mention that I've been answering questions there lately, but I haven't gotten around to that.) --Elkman (Elkspeak) 18:14, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] List of Registered Historic Places in Washington
You probably noticed I got some of the photos for Clallam county, feel free to rearraige them as you feel, also the articles too. I might go out on a sunny day and try to get more/better ones if weather cooperates and or I have time. I will just have to avoid the gaurd at the old post office that thinks it is illeagal to take pictures of a federal building (will explain the odd angle I ended up with, first and only picture I got) anyways cheers Bigfathairymarmot (talk) 05:44, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fort Cascades
I don't know if it came across as intended, but I meaning to be a bit hifalutin' / thot I was being funny with my reply at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject National Register of Historic Places#Fort Cascades. I appreciated your setting a bit of a challenge, and I went looking for archaeological sites that were NRHPs that might fit the bill. Then in my response i thot it was funny to imply i was working on who knows how many WA NRHP articles. In fact i was involved in discussion/development of Good Article advancement of the Hanford site, which happens to involve a couple NRHP archaeological sites. I don't think the humour got acrossssss necessarily, oh well. :( doncram (talk) 01:41, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] List of Registered Historic Places in Pierce County, Washington
Hi :-) You've done a lot of hard work on the List of Registered Historic Places in Pierce County, Washington. Is there anything I can do to help with this project? Take care. ∞☼Geaugagrrl(T)/(C) 02:37, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Maqui map.png
Hi, I have requested this image for deletion, I did a new better version of this map with more info: a new area in Cataluña and several cities. Bye! Gurgut —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.147.231.111 (talk) 15:36, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Category:Eco-terrorism
Say, if you're around could you rejoin the CFD for Category:Eco-terrorism? It's been relisted under April 4, and I've been pretty much carrying the entire thing all by myself. There had been a solid concensus against the name, but several new editors have jumped in since the relisting who are arguing for Keeping it under this name. Cgingold (talk) 18:21, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] FYI new/old tribal/history resource
Pls see Talk:Coast Salish where I posted a summary of old ethno write-ups used by genealogy.com; the link is to Washington but if you click around you'll find stuff on Canada-side peoples; interesting list of villages not seen anywhere else, also some breakdown of languages/groups I haven't seen before; esp. re Interior Salish and lower Columbia peoples.Skookum1 (talk) 14:59, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
- Interesting btw in that it says that the Chilliwack-area Salish were originally Nooksack speakers rather than "Cowichan" (which the page uses for the Halkomelem-speaking group(s)).Skookum1 (talk) 15:01, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy deletion of Image:Yavapai.jpg

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Agrupacion de Guerrilleros.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Agrupacion de Guerrilleros.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check
-
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
- That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

[edit] Hope you had a great trip, and see you back very soon.
Hi Murderbike,
I sure hope you had a great time while you were away. I see you have put up a semi-retired sign on your page. Hopefully we will see you back very soon. I bet after the rains return in the November? You have contributed a great deal! I feel bad I have not helped you as much I have wanted to with the Washington projects. RL keeps getting in my way. Top it off I am soon to own an Electra Cruiser Huli Huli which will mean even more to have IRL. Stay safe on the road! ∞☼Geaugagrrl(T)/(C) 06:15, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Views wanted
If you'd be so kind to go over to the Anarcho punk talk page and at your two cents, I'd be pleased. There is now discussion IF it is a genre at all (sigh). See also the Crass talk page. Channel ® 00:52, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
