Talk:Murray Burnett
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In the 1960s Murray Burnett hosted a late-night radio show on WPEN (950 AM) in Philadelphia. The show was named TONIGHT ON RADIO "... a (Ted [?]) Reinhart Production on the station that 'owns' midnight." The show was broadcast from the William Penn Room (described as a glorified sandwich shop) at 2212 Walnut Street in Center City Phladelphia. Radio Station WPEN had its studios upstairs in the same building. The public was invited to stop by and 'watch' the show in person. After interviewing the guest(s), on-air phone calls were taken. Murray Burnett was frequently asked if he was the same Murray Burnett responsible for Casablanca, which he said he was.
