[edit] tracking Muriel down

Is this the same muriel powell as in [1], [2], [3] etc? Fiddle Faddle 10:07, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

Apparently it isn't. Dame Muriel has an entry in the Dictionary of National Biography, and Chailey Heritage is not mentioned once - in fact, there is no point during her busy career that she could have even fitted in a year working for them, let alone the many years the subject of this article seems to have done. The fact they had the same name and were both hospital matrons seems to be no more than a coincidence. -- Necrothesp 14:51, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
I had the feeling that was going to be too easy :) It didn't seem right, whcuh is why I put it here instead of the article. Actually, is "Matron Powell" of Chailey the same as Muriel? Fiddle Faddle 16:12, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
Got her! [Lewes Today Fiddle Faddle 16:19, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
I was about to provide that link :) Of course, it's possible that could be a mistake resulting from confusion with the better-known Dame Muriel Powell. -- Necrothesp 16:22, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
Well I've added it to the article as a ref. I think we need an {{expert}}, though, so I'll flag it as needing one Fiddle Faddle 16:28, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
