From the news sources I read, Laurean is suspected of being the father although nothing has been proven as of yet. -- goatasaur (talk) 15:55, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Personal information in summary

Since this article is now titled Murder of Maria Lauterbach, I feel this should be removed. Thoughts? "Lauterbach was adopted as a toddler, along with her sister. Tony Harris of CNN reported on January 12, 2008, that Lauterbach never felt that her adoptive parents treated her as well as their natural children."Angrymansr (talk) 12:22, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

I disagree because her adoptive mother was not supportive and Maria had no place to turn....BaliPearl

That's seems a bit speculative. The quote says she doesn't feel she was treated as well as her natural children. That doesn't automatically mean she couldn't turn to her. I don't see how this is relevant to her being murdered. Angrymansr (talk) 10:57, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
This has been removed again as not relevant to the topic of this article. BaliPearl, please sign your comments with four tildes (~) rather than typing out your user name. will381796 (talk) 12:42, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

Well, I disagree with you. It was reported on CNN. So, it must be relevant. It is evidence that Lauterbach did not have support and was in a vulnerable position.BaliPearl (talk) 21:51, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

Removed again. Lots of stuff were probably in that CNN article and not all of it is relevant to the topic of this article. Had this been an article on Lauterbach herself, I might thing this would warrant inclusion; but as related to the topic of her murder, it is irrelevant. I don't know how anybody could know 100% how she felt about her adoptive parents except for Lauterbach herself. will381796 (talk) 22:56, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
Agreed. Angrymansr (talk) 12:20, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
