Note: there is a punk rock band named Murder in E Minor which has no connection with this book. Therefore, it essential to use the link

[[Murder In E-Minor]]

to refer to this page rather than of the rock group. When I get time I may slot in a disambiguation page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Modus Vivendi (talkcontribs)

I think the phrase, "Goldsborough's characters are very similar, with one extremely important exception: they live in modern times, not the Great Depression" should instead be something like this:

"Goldsborough's characters are very similar, and Goldsborough has them never age, just as did Stout, even though all the Nero Wolfe books take place at the time they are written. So, Nero Wolfe is about 50 in every story and Archie Goodwin is about 30 in every story, even though the earlier written stories took place in the Depression, the later written stories occurred during WWII, still later written stories occurred during the immediate post WW II time frame, and so on."
