Originally starting strong, they made the Riverside County "Elite 8" round in both 1999 and 2000. The program then diminished and did not make the quarterfinals again until 2005, where they lost. After a poor finish in 2006, the team came under new leadership. Thom Scher, a senior, became captain and the team made it all the way to Round 7 (Finals) where they lost to King High School[3]. The 2008 team is under the leadership of Kim Sokolich, Heather White, and Sara Connors, all juniors. As of March 1st, 2008, the team had qualified for its second straight final round, this time against Temecula Valley High School.
