Murray Wilde is a Canadian songwriter born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and presently residing in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia.
In 2005 he began writing and composing the music for songs in a variety of genres with a preference for the Classic Rock style and topical subjects that address social and political issues. His compositions are often in collaboration with other artists from home and abroad and he has received many accolades for his work in the short period since commencing his musical pursuit.
Currently a member of the Songwriters Association of Canada, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (P.E.T.A.) and Singers, Songwriters & Musicians Against the Fur Trade.

2006 - Narrative Music Canada ~ winner of the 'Lyric Of The Year' in the Cultural/Spiritual genre.
2007 - SoundClick.com ~ a first runner-up from 8458 entries in a 10th anniversary song competition.
2008 - Nashville Song Service ~ Honorable Mention in the Christian Lyric category.
