Murphy Logo Su'a (b. 7 November 1966) in Wanganui) is a former New Zealand cricketer, who played 13 Tests and 12 One Day Internationals for New Zealand.
Su'a was often thought of as a great under-achiever. A left arm seamer who never scaled the heights that is talent suggested he might, the first Samoan to play test cricket for New Zealand (and before Ross Taylor's debut, the only). Su'a even resorted to bowling left arm spin (embarrassingly) in test cricket as his career was on the decline.
Su'a was included in the 1992 World Cup squad for New Zealand but famously did not play in a single game, being 12th man in all of them.
Su'a then became a motivational speaker in the United States.
Currently he is a Customer Loyalty and Growth Manager at Vodafone NZ.
