[edit] The Affaire „Ducruet“
Houtteman was reigning „Miss Nude Belgium“ when in August 1996 Belgian photographer Stephane de Lisiecki arranged a meeting between Houtteman and Princess Stephanie's husband Daniel Ducruet in a rented villa in Villefranche-sur-Mer, Southern France. De Lisiecki and Houtteman's boyfriend Yves Hoogewys photographed Ducruet having poolside sex with Houtteman. The pictures and a video footage of the tryst were widely reproduced in the Spanish, Italian and German press and led directly to the royal couple's divorce. Houtteman used her short time popularity for several performances in TV and magazines, such as Eurotrash or Penthouse.
[edit] The Trial
In 2000 the magistrates' court in Nice found Houtteman, de Lisiecki and Hoogewys guilty of breaching the intimacy of Ducruet's private life. Houteman and Hoogewys were given six-month suspended prison sentences, de Lisiecki was given a one-year suspended sentence. Ducruet was given compensation of 200.000 French Francs.
[edit] After the Affaire
