Murfeld is the southernmost municipality of the province Radkersburg. Murfeld is also the name of a township in the district Graz called Liebenau. Murfeld is knows for its gorgeous landscape, the Murradwanderweg (a trial for bicycles along the river Mur), its agriculture, a tiny grocery store and the widely known Murfähre (a ferry across the river Mur.)

  • 1 FPÖ - sets the vicemayor

The Fire department of Oberschwarza is responsible to guard Oberschwarza and Seibersdorf. The Fire Departments of Oberschwarza and Unterschwarza are together constructing a new fire-station right now. The following fire departments are present in Murfeld:
