The Munster Minor Hurling Championship is the Minor (under 18 years of age) "knockout" competition in the game of hurling played in the province of Munster in Ireland. The series of games are organised by the Munster Council. The competition began in 1928, with Cork winning during the inaugural year. The most successful county to date is Tipperary who have won on 36 occasions. The current Munster Minor hurling champions are Tipperary. The winners represent Munster in the All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship. Since the late 1990s, the runners-up have also qualified to take part in the All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship.
