Mundka is a census town in West district in the Indian state of Delhi.

As of 2001 India census,[1] Mundka had a population of 43,898. Males constitute 56% of the population and females 44%. Mundka has an average literacy rate of 68%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 75%, and female literacy is 59%. In Mundka, 16% of the population is under 6 years of age.And most of population is Jats Community. This village comes under 25th no Assembly of Delhi. Former minister Sahib singh verma was also born and brought up in this village. Moreover this is an advanced village of Delhi State. In addition, Dada Bhero Mandir (Temble) is well renowned temple everywhere. Now it will be well known for Metro Rail. It would be starting from 2008 onwards.
