Munditia anomala is a minute sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Cyclostrematidae.

This species is endemic to New Zealand, found at Tom Bowling Bay at the northern tip of the North Island.

This little-known shell is found in shell-sand.
[edit] Shell description
The shell is minute, discoid, solid, strongly bicarinate, densely radially striated, but without true axials. The umbilicus is deep, one fifth the major diameter. The aperture is circular, bounded by a heavy striated varix.
Shell coloration is white.
The shell height is up to 0.45 mm, and the width is up to 1 mm.
