Mundford is a village about 8 miles north west of Thetford in the district of Breckland, Norfolk, England.

Lynford Quarry is a well-preserved in-situ Middle Palaeolithic open-air site dating to 60,000 years ago which is believed to show evidence of Homo neanderthalensis (Neanderthals)).
