My primary interest is historical demography. Included in historical demography is statistical analysis of census data, family reconsititution (genealogy), and the social impact of diseases and medical breakthroughs.

Secondary interest are the Central Europe of the Hapsburgs and Bismark, and East Asia as it relates to colonialism.

I am an avid book reader. I prefer literature, fantasy, and young adult fiction as all three have an emphasis on plot.
