Wondering how to edit this U.S. County Entry?
The WikiProject U.S. Counties standards might help.
[edit] US v. ALA
This county figures large in the 2003 US Supreme Court case of US v. ALA. I think that should be mentioned somehow. For people to make this determination, here is a link to the county library's CIPA page and a link to US v. ALA. --SafeLibraries 04:47, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
- Can those who are edit warring over the paragraph about the above case, please explain why you think the paragraph should be removed here. Katr67 04:21, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

- I'm not 100% sure of history but the paragraph has been in and rightfully so for a long time. Then I see an IP address with only 1 previous wiki edit removed the entire section without explanation. So I just put it back. I see that as what we are supposed to do, not edit warring. Are you saying edit warring is going on? I'll go look at the history.

- I have seen a number of different articles being "cleaned up" by hardly used IP addresses never explaining what they are doing but systematicly removing information relating to books and libraries and the interests of the American Library Association, and the IP addresses trace back to Chicago and sometimes to the very network the American Library Association in Chicago uses. The ALA is based in Chicago. I suspect the self-arrogated censorship police are cutting out information they find inconvenient for them, but I have no way to prove this yet, other than the generalized pattern I have just reported. By the way, I was required to change my wiki name from SafeLibraries. --LegitimateAndEvenCompelling 04:51, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

- Ah, I see what you mean. And 68.21.1.226 is from Dallas, the other location these anonymous people hit from. I wonder why just Dallas and Chicago keep cutting out information. --LegitimateAndEvenCompelling 04:55, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Adding information...
Well, I was reading this article, and it does not mention that as of June 2001, it does not offer extension services offered through Oregon State University. The extension service offered 5 different programs before being cut, which included 4-H and Master Gardener, just to name two well-known programs.--Rabbitdude 02:56, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Pop issue
Anyone know where the population info in the chart came from? The 2000 pop doesn't match what is in the lead or demo section for the same census. Aboutmovies (talk) 07:29, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
