[edit] The MDS page

I think this page needs reorganising. The link to "Multidimensional Scaling in Marketing" simply brings me back to the general MDS page that the link is on, so is pointless. This page has some general material at the start but then turns into a description of MDS in marketing - which is supposed to be on a different page, but it badly lacks information about the algorithms used for MDS. I don't know enough about MDS to write it, or I would.

A more minor point: referring to "the better statistical packages" isn't really very useful without saying what they are supposed to be, as "better" is so subjective. Mightn't it be better just to say "some statistical packages"?

1.Could people please sign their posts? 2. the 'marketing section' and the following 'application' section both do not add much information.. furthermore they come out of the blue. Please remove or extend! --Jeroenemans 10:20, 13 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Business Focus

This article is highly biased toward business as opposed to the many other things Multidimensional scaling is used for. It would be helpful if it was expanded include other areas. Cmouse 22:21, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Abomination
