Talk:Mullerian agenesis

[edit] Self-reference?

The Vecchietti procedure is a laparoscopic procedure that has been shown to result in a vagina that is comparable to a normal vagina in patients with Mullerian agenesis.

The article is *about* Mullerian agenesis. I believe perhaps this section was taken from a section concerning MTF SRS, as it is common to mention that post-vaginoplasty an MTF will typically have anatomy that is indistinguishable from a female with Mullerian agenesis. --Puellanivis 03:13, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Lucky women

If you think you're suffering because you don't have a uterus, think again. You don't have to worry about abnormal bleeding, abdominal cramps, being considered impure just because you bleed (in some Indian households, this still exists), worrying about delaying your period due to some reason or the other, delayed periods, getting pregnant, labour pains, maternity leave, etc. You can safely focus on your career without these obstructions. It's just wonderful. I wish I had vaginal agenesis. Then I wouldn't have to behave like a wreck during my period. 59.184.191.170 (talk) 08:19, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
