Multimedia Generation Network
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Multimedia Generation Network (MGN) is an architecture that enables service providers to deploy customized multimedia services while preserving and extending the capabilities of legacy application suites. The MGN is based on a four-layer architectural model: control, media, application and unified management and is designed to be client-aware and access-network agnostic. This approach enables an MGN to optimize the end-user experience seamlessly across multiple access network technologies and devices.
