Mule (gaming)

A Game Mule, is a new game character made specifically designed to one or more task in the game that do not have anything related to the original plot.

- Clerk Mules - A mule in a MMORPG designed to be put in the game and set up a in-game semi-normal store to engage in the procees of selling items but not actually watching or playing the game.
- Games such as Diablo II were noted for the creation of mules to expand available inventory space. Dungeon Siege formalized this trend with the introduction of an actual controllable mule.
