Mula River

The Mula river is a river in India, originating at the Mulshi Dam in Taluka Mulshi in Pune district in the Western Ghats region of the Indian state Maharastra. In the city of Pune it merges with the Mutha River.
Mula is a tributary of the Bhima River in Deccan India. It passes through the towns of Pune and Khadki. Biologists have recorded 108 species of fish, 102 flowering plant species, 130 bird species in and around the river and surrounding areas.
