The following parameters supply general information about the comarca.
| Parameter | Explanation |
|---|---|
| comarca_name | The name of the comarca. |
| comarca_flag | Filename for an image of the flag of the comarca. |
| comarca_arms | Filename for an image of the coat of arms of the comarca. |
| location_map | Filename for an image showing the location of the comarca in terms of its autonomous community, province, or country. |
| location_map_size | Size for the image indicated by field location_map. |
| province | The province wherein the comarca is located. |
| capital | The capital of the comarca. |

The following parameters supply statistical information about the comarca.

| total_population | The total number of inhabitants in the comarca. |
| total_area | The total area, in km2, of the comarca. |
| pop_density | The population density, in people per km2, of the comarca as a whole. |
| most_populated | The NAME of the most populous municipality in the comarca. |
| largest | The NAME of the largest municipality in terms of land area in the comarca. |
| most_dense | The NAME of the municipality with the largest land density in the comarca. |
| source | The source of the statistical information. (Should also include the date.) |

The following parameters supply information about the names, areas, populations, and population densities of the municipalities within the comarca.
Each municipality's listing follows the following format:
#Population=MunicipalityName|Population|Area|PopulationDensity
- #: A consecutive number from 0 to 75. This template can support comarcas with up to 76 municipalities.
- MunicipalityName: The name of the municipality, not linked. Ie: Getafe, not [[Getafe]].
- Population: The number of inhabitants of the municipality.
- Area: The area, in km2, of the municipality.
- PopulationDensity: The population density, in people per km2.
