I'm afraid the spelling "Gapusov" is kind of some occasional mistake, unfortunately spread across the English internet sources. As I remember, his last name was strictly "Gapurov" and the search in the Russian internet sources confirms it. There is no single reference to the name "Gapusov" (Гапусов) in Russian while there are many ones to "Gapurov" (Гапуров).
