[edit] Personal traits section
The below paragraphs need rewriting before replacing into the article. Paragraph 1 sounds like one person's favorable opinion of Mr. Soomro and must become more objective. In paragraph 2, someone's having an argument with someone else. Settle the differences and rewrite it. Michael Patrick (talk) 21:10, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Personal traits
Being the head of the well-known Soomro tribe, he is known for his strong interpersonal and leadership skills. He is well acquainted with national and socio-political issues and has vast exposure in political life since his college days. Due to his integrity, honesty and professionalism, Soomro is well respected by both his supporters and opponents alike - the main reason why his name was being circulated for the post of caretaker prime minister even before his appointment.
[edit] Corruption and Use of Personal Power
The day he took his oath as the new caretaker Prime Minister, his sister and nephew opponent were arrested in his home town Jackotabad and hanged by foot in local Police station [1]. FALSE- this has not been reported by any credible source. REMOVE this past statement. He misused his powers to give lifetime facilities to himself as a caretaker prime minister [2].
He has also alleged to have embezzled family property from his step mother.[3].
[edit] corrections
The following are some corrections to the information about Mr. Soomro.
General:
(1) The spelling of his name is incorrect as currently shown on Wikipedia. The correct spelling is Mohammedmian Soomro NOT muhammad mian soomro. Please correct this.
Corruption and Use of power: (1) This information is completely false and there is no credible source that backs this. In the absence of such a verifiable source it should be removed immediately till such information can be deemed reliable.
(2) On the embezzlement issue, again this statement has no official or verifiable source, nor has the ruling court or other authority issued any such statement. Until such verification is obtained this should be removed from the site immediately.
Both of these violate the Wikipedia rules for posting biographies of living persons as being claims that are not verified through a credible source. Neither of the footnotes link to any source either. Hence, both of these statements should be removed immediately. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bearl2340 (talk • contribs) 19:22, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
