Muhammed Seif Khatib

Muhammed Seif Khatib (born January 10, 1951) is a Tanzanian politician. He is currently the Minister in the Vice-President's Office for Union Affairs and is a Member of Parliament in the National Assembly of Tanzania, representing Uzini constituency.[1]
Khatib was the National Youth Chairman of the Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) from 1978 to 1983 and was a member of the CCM's National Executive Council from 1978 to 2002.[1] After serving as Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office responsible for Information, he was appointed as Minister of Information, Culture and Sports in the Cabinet named on January 4, 2006.[2] Subsequently he was named Minister in the Vice-President's Office for Union Affairs on February 12, 2008.[3][4]
