Mudcrutch is the debut studio album by American rock band Mudcrutch and was released on April 29, 2008. The album was recorded over a two-week period in August 2007. Mudcrutch is best known as the band that preceded Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.

The album debuted at number eight on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, selling about 38,000 copies in its first week.[1]
