Mud Butte, South Dakota

Mud Butte is an unincorporated community in northern Meade County, South Dakota, United States. It lies along U.S. Route 212 northeast of the city of Sturgis, the county seat of Meade County.^[1] Its elevation is 2,871 feet (875 m), and it is located at 45°0′17″N, 102°52′40″W (45.0047115, -102.8776692).^[2] Although it is unincorporated, it has a post office, with the ZIP code of 57758.^[3]
