MTV International a.k.a. (Music Television International) and MTVI was the International Version Of MTV. Was also an Internet network based around the world. It was a subsidiary of MTV Networks. The channel was broadcast by internet on MySpace on MTV International's Blog. MTV International's Channel was powered by Youtube.
Launched on August 17, 2006, the original purpose of the channel is to give commercial-free music videos, once the original MTV had started concentrating on more than music videos or music-related programming. MTV International still did aired music videos a few months after its launch, other music-related specials, and was starting to show s few non-music related shows but MTV International tended to broadcast Music Videos more than Television Shows or Reality Programming. These shows were aimed at viewers in their teens and young adults.

[edit] The Beginning of MTV International
MTV International's first music video to air was Paris Hilton's Stars Are Blind. MTV International's shown music videos of different artists and shows a variety of remixes and original versions of songs by different artists. Music videos, Performances, and special clips of viewers favourite artists. Music Television International let people voted for their favorite videos. Music Television International's artists were known artists around the world. Offered music videos from artists that were International along with local artists from other countries. MTV International was the first MTV Network to be broadcast fully on the internet. MTV International played both old and videos that are played currently on other networks like MTV and MTV2.

MTV International's VJs were all the VJs worldwide from different MTVs around the globe. Along with things picked up from other MTVs around the globe was not only the VJs and artists but the Languages are picked up as well but MTV International's official and original language is English from The United States, Canada,Australia, NZ, and UK since English is an International Language and it's known throughout the world. MTV International also shown music video specials for its viewers like "MTVI's Cool Christmas","MTV AVMA Week", "MTV VMAJ Week","MTV VMA Week" are music video specials that offers music videos based on one subjects such as Christmas,Australia Video Music Awards, Video Music Awards Japan, MTV Video Music Awards. MTV International also lets its viewers to see how the world is today. MTV International's main purpose was trying to break "the barrier that does not allow certain artists and music to countries like America".

As MTV International becamed more popular, MTV International was starting to put more and more shows on its channel. However, some of the shows on MTV International were discounting because of videos from YouTube are getting taken down because they were due to a copyright claim, Copyright Infringements, and more non-helpful problems. MTVI created an Anti-Copyright Videos Zone Only, since its parent company Viacom was suing Youtube and Parent Company Google for over 12,000 unauthorized videos on Youtube since 2nd February, 2007. MTV International was also making some changes with the channel. Such as Play lists were no longer be on a separate page from the blog.
[edit] The ReLaunch Of MTVI
MTV International planned on having a relaunch since the Channel has been out of date. The relaunch was scheduled to go back On Air about 5th May, 2007 since the rumours of the MTVI can't login crazed began. Whatever the is, it remained anonymous. There also have been rumors that they started a relaunch party by the first Friday of their relaunch. along with New Premieres of MTV AVMA week coverage and After Awards Coverage about all the winners and unforgettable moments in VMA/AVMA/VMAJ History.
MTV International Relaunched on Saturday,6 May 2007 at 3:14am GST/3:14pm DST. The Channel on MySpace has recovered after weeks of Technical Difficulties. All the Shows were planned on going back on schedule by 12 May 2007 .

Rumours of another version of MTV International was spreading through out the world. Such as a possibility of MTV International 2 or The Music Factory International, and also VH1 International was being rumoured about being coming the next Channel online, even though there was a block of it and a show.

Music Television International shutdown on June 22,2007 after the channel was receiving little viewers. Yet The channel still broadcasts over YouTube after the shutdown. Some of the last music videos that MTVI showed on its channel were JYONGRI-Possession, Hyori Lee-10 Minutes,Plain White T's-Hey There Delilah, and Michael Bublé - Everything.
