MTV Networks International (MTVNI) have announced the launch of a pan-European High-Definition MTV (MTV HD) channel to launch in early 2008. Following its American counterpart, MTV Networks who launched MHD in 2006. The European version of MTV HD will based in Warsaw, Poland at MTVNI's Emerging Networks Group. The channel will use its resources from the European versions of MTV, VH1 and Nickelodeon which are now based at MTV Networks International in Warsaw. The yet untitled HD channel will include "MTV Unplugged," "VH1 Storytellers" and "CMT's Crossroads," plus the MTV Video Music Awards and the MTV Europe Music Awards. The English-language service will also feature original and acquired shows.
