MTR Laing is a 50:50 joint venture between Laing Rail and MTR Corporation.[1] It commenced the operation of London Overground services from 11 November 2007 as London Overground Rail Operations Ltd.[2]
MTR Laing were also selected to bid for the Thameslink/Great Northern franchise but were unsuccessful: the franchise was awarded to First Group who branded their services First Capital Connect.[3]
