Boina/Beret?
I notice that you've created a redirect from Boina to Beret. The word boina is not mentioned at all in the beret article, so I'm curious as to what connection the two terms have? David Newton 20:34, 19 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Mondragón
Your edits at Mondragón look mostly good, but why did you delete a perfectly good reference? -- Jmabel | Talk 19:23, Jan 24, 2005 (UTC) Hmm. Once something is a reference used in the writing of an article, it doesn't cease to be a reference just because it is more heavily used elsewhere. I believe that Wikipedia:Cite sources is pretty clear on this, but if you think it's ambiguous, it's probable that the policy needs clarification. -- Jmabel | Talk 07:21, Jan 25, 2005 (UTC)
Betagarri
Oi!
I c u have edited the article. How have u find Betagarri article? User:Jugoslaven
Anbotoko Mari
I'm not sure I understand the "see also" leading from Anbotoko Mari to Olentzero. It might make sense to create an article (or category) with a name like Basque myths and legends, mutually linked with both, but as far as I can tell their only relation is one of common category, which doesn't really merit a "see also" -- Jmabel | Talk 19:10, Jan 25, 2005 (UTC)

Hi there. You licensed the above image as 'GDFL.' While this template redirects to the one for the GFDL, we're not compltely sure of the legal implications of this, so I'd really appreciate it if you could change the template from {{GDFL}} to {{GFDL}}. Thanks a lot! -Frazzydee|✍ 00:08, 21 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- By the way, if you could also update the other images that you uploaded with the wrong template, that'd be great. Thanks again :) -Frazzydee|✍ 00:11, 21 Mar 2005 (UTC)
Pronouns
Do you have a philosophical objection to pronouns? I find your changes today to articles on individual British MPs rather aggressive. He and she are often nicer than surnames, even at the beginning of paragraphs; it also avoids confusion with peers. --Audiovideo 23:39, 12 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Lord Parmoor
Hello, why did you recat Lord Parmoor? I thought convention is to categorize by peerage title. Mackensen (talk) 00:53, 13 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Looking at the category, I see that a number of other peers were categorized that way. I guess I don't have any problem with it, although it does introduce a subjective inconsistency in our categorization policy. I would suggest asking John Kenney or Lord Emsworth about it; they've been more engaged on peerage naming than I have. Mackensen (talk) 11:49, 13 Apr 2005 (UTC)
lots of edits, not an admin
Hi - I made a list of users who've been around long enough to have made lots of edits but aren't admins. If you're at all interested in becoming an admin, can you please add an '*' immediately before your name in this list? I've suggested folks nominating someone might want to puruse this list, although there is certainly no guarantee anyone will ever look at it. Thanks. -- Rick Block (talk) 13:49, Jun 20, 2005 (UTC)
Ituzaingó
Thanks for the changes, it looks better. Btw, I'm interested in Mondragón for my thesis (see Market socialism) so i will read that article here. If you want to expand the area of market socialism and Economic Democracy tell me.--horzer 05:20, July 20, 2005 (UTC)

Belgrano
I like to thank you for your mispelling and grammar corrections you made on Belgrano, Buenos Aires, which I edited rather in a hurry. --Jfa 13:05, 22 July 2005 (UTC)
Chubut
Hi! Sorry about the edit-conflicts we had. I wanted to ask you if you could make a new map of the departments of Chubut Province with the numbering in the Chubut Province#Political division section. That would give a good geographic idea of the departments, and make the section look much better. Thank you! -Mariano 10:35, 27 July 2005 (UTC)
- (from here) Gracias Mariano. No problem about the edit-conflicts - sorry if I trod on your toes. Actually, I found it funny that we were working on the same things at the same time but I think together we have improved the Chubut pages considerably. Good idea on the map, I'll amend accordingly. I seem to have a problem making PNG files as they show up in strange colours on my mac, so I am doing the maps as gifs for now. Thanks again. Mtiedemann 10:44, 27 July 2005 (UTC)
Yeap, I'm also glad with the improvements. If you wish, I can make PNGs out of your GIFs/whatever. The easy way: Send them to me attached in a mail and I will upload them; the hard way: fake the extension (rename to .PNG) and upload them with GIF format but PNG name. I will download them and upload them again. Just let me know! (you can write me here, so we can easily track the conversation) -Mariano 10:53, 27 July 2005 (UTC)
Croydon Council
Hi M, this whole thing has now been taken out of our hands, by the look of things. Your article "Croydon council" has now been redirected back into "London Borough of Croydon". Yes, as has been stated it probably is better in "London B...", as it is more consistent with the other London borough articles. Yes, also, as you said, the previous "L. B. o C." article was getting too large and could not have accommodated the Council/townhall details. On the whole it's been a good effort for Wikipedia. Dieter Simon 23:54, 23 September 2005 (UTC)
-
- It now seems a waste of time to quibble about where things should go, mainly due to the length of the now recreated "Croydon" article, which had to absorb most of the historical, cultural, industrial and mercantile details. Have taken out the merge notice from "Duplicate articles" site. Dieter Simon 00:02, 24 September 2005 (UTC)
More on the basque dahu, please!
Hello. I see you created the dahu article. I'm from the Alps where we are obsessed with dahus, and this is the first time I read about the basque one. Is it really lizard-like? Or izard-like? Are there other stories about it? Thank you very much Miuki 14:41, 29 September 2005 (UTC)
