We are trying to determine what the shape on the secondary highway sign depicts? One guess is an arrowhead, one is an upside-down tree or shrub (my wife's guess). Can someone resolve the dispute?? Salsted (talk) 02:25, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

I certainly can't resolve it, but perhaps it represents a cone of the Ponderosa Pine, the state tree of Montana, in the same way that Kansas uses a sunflower shield. 86.44.28.245 (talk) 02:51, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
