[edit] Television shows

Currently, the MSU Telecasters produce four shows, each consisting of two episodes per semester.

  • MSU & U: A magazine show reporting on various aspects of MSU student life.
  • The ShõW: A sitcom about the lives of five students in Wilson Hall. It is the longest-running college sitcom in the United States. The ShõW was founded in 1988 by Greg Harrison. Other notable alumni include Steve Van Wormer.
  • MSU Upfront: What was originally a fast-paced debate show has now changed to a game show
  • Sideshow: A sketch comedy show with parodies, music videos, and other short sketches.

[edit] Broadcast media

In the past, MSU Telecasters programs have aired on the RHA TV station on campus. In Fall 2006, the Telecasters moved to Comcast Local for a larger geographical reach. Their shows also air occasionally on the Open Student Television Network.

[edit] Michael Jordan

The Telecasters are held together by one man, Michael J Jordan. He is the proverbial glue that binds this organization. Michael can be spotted around the DMAT lab helping students and surfing t3h 1nt3rn3ts on his 17" PowerBook G5. Although he is often mistaken for the professional athlete, the comparison is valid. Michael is 6' 5" and rippled with muscles.

Michael is a Linux enthusiast and probably the 1337est person I know.
