Ok, just started this page. The Spirit class ships should be remembered for more than the sinking of the Herald to my mind - they were an intermediary between the small ferries of the 1960s and today's giant superferries. WelshMatt 14:25, 24 November 2006 (UTC)


I travelled as a kid on SFE to France for a day trip once; it must've been very new at the time. I'm a bit surprised, but pleased, that the ship still exists and operates today, even if in a modified form. Fleetie (talk) 22:28, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
