The MS Rotterdam is a cruise ship, the sixth Holland America Line vessel to bear the name, and is the Atlantic flagship of the fleet. Built in Italy in 1997, the Rotterdam features fine art and antiques, an Internet center, and a spa and fitness center.
In October of 2004, it lost power while doing a transatlantic crossing. Many passengers suffered injuries during this period; the most severe being a broken femur.[1]
The Rotterdam carries an art collection onboard worth over $2 Million.
