Perhaps some mention shoould be made of how the character started off in a variety of situations but has since devolved into talking about her bowels all the time?

Also, should Dr Chakraborty figure into the article?

[edit] Delete the word "Bigoted"?

I see the almost obligatory leftist "bigoted" comment has made it into the text. Bigoted implies conscious awareness of thought and action. Mrs. Brady is really portrayed as a passive stereotype of her age - in precisely the same way the reactionary "Ben Eltons" of the 1980s are of their age and the "Al Gores" are of the contemporary era are of ours. In retrospect such stereotypes ultimately become clear. Likewise, she is a product of her era and portrayed precisely as a relic of the past, so regardless of whether she is a fictional character or not we should resist potentially defamatory comments which are likely to be extended to the elderly in the real world. Nothing in any of the series of cartoons suggests Mrs Brady is sufficiently compus mentis for what she says to be classified as "bigoted" in any fashion. Senile perhaps. Confused yes. Thus inserting the term "bigoted" is, in itself a political act and non-NPOV. I would recommend it be deleted. - Furthermore, what's worse is that I can remember when Mrs Brady were all fields too! 86.3.101.212 (talk) 23:07, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
