Once upon a time, there was a father asking the son about where would he like to go to school when he grew up. The son responded Gadjah Mada (Best university in Indonesia) or any college in Boston. The father was surprisingly shocked hearing that his son has such a great hope. He told his son that if he attends school in Boston, the family wouldn't be able to afford the living condition nevermind attending the school. At the end, the son respected his father's decision and attended the best school in the country that is about 2 and a half hour plane ride away from home.

The relationship between the father and son was as tight as the relationship between the father and his grandson. As a result, the father has two golden son and grandson by his side. So the son and the nephew (grandson) loved the father very much that three of them always joke around and talk about family business as well as partnership business.

Days went by as the son graduated from Gadja Mada University while the grandson was still in elementary school. One day the grandfather asked the grandson if he would like to go to school as high as his uncle did, and the answer was yes, indeed. Very well then, replied the grandfather. As he continued, "I know everything about your future whereabout. You are going to leave us and reside in Boston as well as attending one of the best business schools in the states." He added, "Maybe married to a blonde blue eyes American girl. hehe..." The grandson didn't think such a great distance thought, so he just answered, "I wish."

In less than a decade, the grandfather passed away. The son took charge of the family while the grandson moved to Boston as an immigrant. The duty of the son and the grandson is very very similar. In fact, they are so alike that is like they are living in a parallel life only different part of the world.

It carries a huge shell as they carry their duties for almost all their life. It always hides under the shell not because it scares, but because he is down to earth. It never looked back, always looks forward to the future. It's very friendly. It has a long life ahead of it.

As of today, the son lives at the house that he inherited from his father in Indonesia, working full-time as a Manager at a foreign financial institution while taking care of the mother and the youngest sister. On the other hand, the grandson lives at Boston, working part-time as a photo specialist and going to school full-time while taking care of the mother and the younger sister. It had been 8 years that the son and the nephew didn't have any contact whatsoever. But they had reunited about two months ago when the nephew went to Indonesia along with his mother and sister for the summer vacation .

   God bless grandpa in heaven and thank you for looking upon us...
Afterall, he got his every wishful dreams come true one day at a time.. 

(Maybe not about the blonde blue eyes woman).
