Unfortunately, I do not have personal nor expert knowledge in these subjects. I have trained with (on rare occasion) Seikichi Odo and his senior student in the US.

Odo's primary teacher was the founder of Okinawan Kenpo, Shigeru Nakamura (who was trained by an number of Okinawan experts: Shinkichi Kuniyoshi, Choyu Motobu, Kentsu Yabu and Chomo Hanashiro).

Odo also studied under Seiki Tomo, Shinko Matayoshi, Kakezu Mitsou, and Kinjo Sato.
