Mrityudata is a 1997 Bollywood film directed by Mehul Kumar with music by Anand Milind. The film is considered to be a comeback role for Amitabh Bachchan who temporarily left the industry in 1992, at the age of 50. This film was produced by his own production company called Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Limited (ABCL), which produced films like Tere Mere Sapne and distributed several films such as Mani Ratnam's Bombay and Shekhar Kapur's Bandit Queen. Although it marked Amitabh Bachanan's comeback after five years it was a failure at the box office.[1] . One of the songs in the film picturized on Amitabh and Daler Mehndi was very popular when released.
