I try to consider User:Andrewa/creed some useful observations

A common turn of phrase in the English language is "One should not assume; it makes an ass out of you and me." This is a clever observation of the spelling of the word assume; ass [you] me.

A Wikilawyer WP:LAWYER, is "a person learned in the Wikipedia policy, guidelines and conventions; a person asked to interpret them by those who do not have the knowledge." WikiLaw is the system of rules of conduct established by the Wikimedia Foundation, Inc. of a Wikipedia society to correct wrongs, maintain stability, and deliver justice. Participating as a Wikilawyer involves the practical application of abstract Wikitheories and Wikiknowledge to solve specific individualized Wikiproblems, or to advance the interests of those who request Wikilawyers to perform advisory services. :o)

Agnes Moorhouse: "Animals have rights too, you know. A battery chicken's life isn't worth living. Would you want to spend your life packed in with six hundred other desperate, squawking, smelly creatures, unable to breathe fresh air, unable to move, unable to stretch, unable to think?" Sir Humphrey: "Certainly not, that is why I never stood for Parliament."
Yes Prime Minister - Power to the People BBC: 7 January 1988

"Would you tell me, which way I ought to walk from here?" "That depends a good deal on where you want to get to," said the Cat. "I don't much care where," said Alice. "Then it doesn't matter which way you walk," said the Cat. Lewis Carroll Alice in Wonderland

После войны я не раз слышал от старых солдат: «Кто не познал войну в сорок первом— начале сорок второго, тот не знает, что такое настоящая война».
Пожалуй, они правы.
