[edit] WP:RM: Leigh Delamere → Leigh Delamere services

Hi Mr WR – here's an unofficial welcome to the world of Wikipedia!

...Should be moved in line with names of articles for other service stations. I don't have the "move" tab at the top of my pages for some reason, so I can't do this myself...

Probably because you're a "very new" user; I think the ability to move pages doesn't kick-in for a few days. So, have made the move in lieu. Best wishes, David Kernow 14:08, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Untitled post from Lucky 6.9

Hi! The problem was, your article wasn't more than a few words long and was little more than an echo of what was already in the title. Sorry to have upset you. Best advice I can give you is to add as much basic information to a new article as possible. Please don't hesitate to ask me for help. - Lucky 6.9 18:55, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Michael Tickner

Mr WR - Hi there, I just stumbled cross the Michael Tickner article. I noticed that it doesn't contain any information that indicates why Tickner should be in an encyclopedia, nor does it verify assertions from reliable sources. I took a look at the external links and Michael appears to be a reasonably successful but unremarkable commercial artist. I was going to mark the article for deletion, but first wanted to give you a chance to let me know if I've missed something. Check out Wikipedia:Notability (people) for guidelines on what is normally required for a person to get an article in Wikipedia. Thanks -Siobhan Hansa 11:48, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for responding. I'm not on a big deletion campaign, and don' know much about what makes an artist notable. I only came across the article because I was diambiguating British, so if he's well known I'll do a bit more searching for sources and info to try and build the article up a bit instead. If I can't find much I'll think about AfDing later. --Siobhan Hansa 20:19, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Carl XVI Gustav

It was a Edit summary typo mistake. I meant to put 'Sept.19' as his coronation date. I noticed my mistake after pressing the 'save' button (should have pressed 'show preview' button first). I'll try to be less careless in the future. GoodDay 17:45, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Haxo (Paris Métro)

Why rename the page to include the accent, when other Paris Metro stations (e.g. Porte des Lilas (Paris Metro) do not? - Superbfc 08:57, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

Furthermore, re there are dozens of ghost station articles, so they can't all added to each other as "see also" links; that might be the case, but there are much fewer stations that were built and never used. - Superbfc 20:10, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:5013.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:5013.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 06:31, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
