[edit] Adoption

Hello, Mr. Grim. I will be more than happy to adopt you. I am really glad that you are going to redo the Saleen S7 article, as it despritely needs it. If you haven't done it, I probably would have pushed myself to do it. I looked over your under construction version, and I like what I see, it is well structured and informative. I though suggest that you look at Maserati MC12 for ideas for how to do up the article, as it is a featured article, and it can show you the standards the article is required to meet. What you are doing for the Saleen S7 article is the same thing that I did to the Ford Taurus article a while back. It too was a mess before I gave it a good overhaul. Welcome to Wikipedia, and if you have any questions, just let me know! Karrmann 21:25, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] S7

I looked over the introduction of the article, and I decieded to Be bold and make some adjustments myself. If you want, I may b e able to find additional references to back up the article. Karrmann 11:06, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Oh, thank you for that. I did not even think of the Vector W8. —Mr Grim Reaper (Talk | contribs), 21:48, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free image (Image:Tanis Base.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Tanis Base.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 08:28, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Koenigsegg CCX / CCXR

Hi, I noticed that you have contributed to Koenigsegg CCX and I have suggested merging it with Koenigsegg CCXR. I thought that since you have edited it, you might be interested in discussing the merge here. Thanks for your time, James086Talk | Email 06:01, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks!

I appreciate your fixing of the references section of the Commercial Revolution.

Separate note: plurals do not get apostrophes. So, when you have messages...it's just plural without the apostrophe. I didn't think it kosher to just change your talk page...

Thanks again for your help on the Commercial Revolution page!

[edit] Nissan template

I have to ask what exactly was the reasoning behind removing the color from Template:Nissan Sportscar Racers? The359 (talk) 03:15, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

The coloring was bright, unnecessary, and stained the eyes. I don't see why it would need coloring that bright, or of any kind. —Mr. Grim Reaper at 03:17, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
The coloring can be toned down, but it has color to stand out and match Nissan's corporate scheme. It hardly needs to be "necessary" to be added. Most motorsports templates have color schemes. The359 (talk) 03:21, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
You have to remember that just because others have coloring doesn't make it right. I would ask to vote on it, but I don't feel that many people will vote. I can be alright with coloring if it isn't bright and if it [tries] to stick with web safe colors, or other Wikipedia guidelines. —Mr. Grim Reaper at 03:30, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
I must have missed the part where there was a guideline against colored templates? I've added the color back in at a darker tone, which actually more closely matches Nissan's colors. The359 (talk) 03:35, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Edits to McFly (band)

Hi, thanks for your edits to cleanup McFly (band), however, I must caustion you. The scripts you used messed up two song names "Don't Stop Me Now" and "I'll Be OK". I changed them back, but thought you ought to know. mattbuck (talk) 18:01, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

Oh, right. I guess I missed that. (It splits up contractions.) Sorry. :S —Mr. Grim Reaper at 18:54, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] User:Wikiarrangementeditor

I just wanted to let you know that the discussion regarding the GT-R's status has spilled over on to the Porsche 959 page. Wikiarrangement editor has taken it upon himself to change the 959's status to sportscar in a rather pointy fashion. Your input would be appriciated. --Daniel J. Leivick (talk) 06:19, 9 December 2007 (UTC)

I wonder, is it possible to have this user blocked from editing? Wikiarrangementeditor doesn't seem to want to listen, and the language barrier proves to make the situation worse. —Mr. Grim Reaper at 18:22, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, I have been wondering the same thing. It is really hard to discuss things with him as I don't think he understands much of what gets said. I think he is using and internet translator or something. If the problem continues we may want to alert an admin. --Daniel J. Leivick (talk) 18:45, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
He does use a translator (see Talk:Nissan GT-R). I don't think he will stop. —Mr. Grim Reaper at 18:52, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
Here is the deal, I think the current revision of the 959 and the GT-R pages are good. Listing the 959 as a Group B sportscar and mentioning that it is regarded as Porsche's first supercar is fine with me. If Wikiarrangement editor changes it back to being regarded as "Porsche's first sports car" (totally crazy as it was anything but Porsche's first sports car) that really is just blatant vandalism. If he does this we can warn him and than report him to WP:ANI. Aside from that I actually recomend just ignoring him if at all possible. Without conflict I think he will loose interest pretty quick and disapear. Try editing Japanese Wikipedia through Google translator, it can't be fun nor should it really be done. --Daniel J. Leivick (talk) 18:59, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
I think I can live with and do that. —Mr. Grim Reaper at 20:13, 9 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of Progenitor (Homeworld)

I have nominated Progenitor (Homeworld), an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Progenitor (Homeworld). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. [edit] Caparo T1

Thanks for cleaning up my YT reference by converting it to an episode ref. Was unsure how to do it add that citation but wanted to ensure VB-H's statement was cited. Cheers --John Gibbard (talk) 21:04, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
